One for peppercorn and one was used for salt. The peppercorn one works flawlessly, even 2 yrs later. the one for salt has a slow or dying motor, or maybe the salt is just to hard on the motor, who knows. i have since cleaned out the one i used for salt as best i could and gave it to my parents for them to use with peppercorn.
Pros:
-top dispensing, so you dont have to worry about dropping pepper on your counter.
-viewable window so you know exactly how much you have left
-no buttons to push, just flip it over and enjoy fresh pepper
-my guests love it and ask me about this product all the time when they see me cooking with it
-i really dont have to change the batteries that often
Cons:
-does not hold that much peppercorn, IMO
-wished they made one that worked well with salt
