Purchased these to replace the mish mash of spice jars and containers I usually bring along for camping.
They are made of durable plastic so they won't break when dropped. Screw caps are secure and they are larger than your average "test tubes", I would guess they hold about a tablespoon and a half.
I bought these for the containers and not the spices. I usually replace my spices every year at home besides salt and peppers. No telling how long these spices sat on a factory shelf so I replaced most of the tubes with fresh spices. Each tube had a label on the cap but you can easily write on the tube or cap with a marker.
